Christmas Around Carmel: What To Do After Your Design Studio Appointment
Tis the season for a new home! One of the best parts of purchasing a new home is your design studio appointment. There is nothing better than getting to see your selections come to life right in front of you. Our beautiful new design studio is located right in the heart of Carmel, Indiana. If your design studio appointment is approaching, make a day of it and spend some time enjoying Christmas around Carmel. Here’s a few things to add to your agenda that day:
1. Carmel Christkindlmarkt
The tradition lives on as the Carmel Christkindlmarkt takes on another year. This open-air Christmas market celebrates in a traditional German style fashion. The market strives to create an authentic German experience with products sourced from Germany and other surrounding countries. You’ll find food, gifts, and even activities like the ice skating rink that sits perfectly in the middle of the market! The Carmel Christkindlmarkt was voted the number one winner in the 2019 USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest for Best Holiday Market. This is an experience you won’t want to miss. 3. Monon Trail
If you’re looking for some exercise following your appointment, head right out the door to the Monon Trail. This 27-mile trail is what used to be part of the Indianapolis, Chicago, and Louisville Railway. This urban trail will take you under ramps of major highways, residential areas, and on the 10th street trailhead it lands you jut a block away from the Indianapolis Cultural Trail where you’ll find museums, shops, restaurants, and more! As for your local Carmel area, the trail will take you by the famous Palladium and you’ll even pass the relocated Carmel Monon Depot that was built in 1883. During the holiday season, you will find the Monon decked out in Christmas lights! Enjoy taking a stroll though the beautifully lit tunnels before you head home.
Wether you plan to go ice skating, grab a slice of cake or take a scenic walk, the city of Carmel has plenty of holiday plans for you to make as you schedule your design studio appointment. We can’t wait to see you in the studio and we hope that you enjoy the surrounding city while you’re in town.
